| About MJ Manufacturing Located in Eastern Michigan, MJ Manufacturing was established in 1979 when a facility was needed to produce high quality sidelite products. After good success with this new product and room for expansion, MJ turned it's sights to the automotive industry. With thousands of bumpers passing through the facility each year, we were able to streamline our process. These improvements paid off when MJ Manufacturing was awarded a military contract. Our facility manufactured over two million products for the country during the Gulf War. Throughout this contract, we met all the stringent Government standards and our end product stood up well to hard military use. Over our 32 years we have had the opportunity to work with many companies and have received a lot of feedback from both civilian and military environments. This allows us to constantly improve our process and maintain the highest quality services. We are very proud of our 35,000 sq ft manufacturing plant with full loading dock facilities. Large high temperature ovens combined with two monorail lines that can carry 15' items up to 1,000 lbs. Today our primary product is protective coatings to meet many different requirements. We specialize in all types of powder, epoxy and solvent spray applications in a fast turn-around factory line environment. |
Personnel Background Hello, my name is Edward Arends and I am the President of MJ Manufacturing. My education and background is revolved around engineering, including a B. A. in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University. I have worked for GM as a skilled trade supervisor and worked in Industrial sales. All these combined skills and experience allow me to offer the best solutions to your current and future projects.
